Antibacterial Effectiveness Test in Liquid Soaps

Due to the recent Coronavirus epidemic, the use of antibacterial products has increased significantly.

Whether a liquid soap or any product used for disinfection is antibacterial - can be learned by tests.

Analysis of products such as chemical disinfectants and hand soaps used in food, households and organizations are carried out according to TS EN 1276.

In order to indicate that a product shows antibacterial properties according to this standard, it is necessary to work with at least 4 bacteria. These bacteria: Pseudomonas aeruginosa, E.coli, S.aureus, Enterococci hirae.

The product should produce a decrease of at least 5 logarithms on these bacteria. It means that it kills 99.9% of the bacteria.
