ETHYLENE OXIDE RESIDUE TEST

Sterilization with ethylene oxide is one of the sterilization methods of medical materials.

Sterilization with ethylene oxide is suitable for sterilization of many medical materials. It is a preferred method because medical plastic materials are sensitive to heat and moisture.

After full cycle sterilization, ethylene oxide residue analysis (Ethylene Oxide, Ethylene Chlorhydrin and Ethylene Glycol) is performed on the sterilized product.

ETO residue test results should be below the limit given in ISO 10993-7.
