The limit value of formaldehyde in the "Cosmetic Preservatives List" is 0.1% (as free formaldehyde) for oral care products; 0.2% (as free formaldehyde) for other products.
All finished cosmetic products containing formaldehyde must contain a warning "contains formaldehyde". In order to use the phrase "Does not contain formaldehyde" on the label, formaldehyde analysis should be done.
