Ministry of Health, Turkey Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency, "Guideline on Natural and Organic Cosmetic Ingredients Product Claims" (Version 2.0), which describes the features that should be in organic and natural cosmetics.
One of these features is that natural and organic cosmetic products should not contain GMOs.
Article 5.13 of the guideline clearly states that product ingredients derived from genetically modified microorganisms (GMOs) should not be used.
Therefore, natural or organic cosmetics should not contain GMO and this should be documented with a GMO analysis report.
