In case of growth in the medium used in Bacillus cereus analysis, these colonies are considered as “possible” B.cereus. Verification is required for these breeding colonies. The colonies that breed in petroleum should be counted directly and results should not be given and verification should be made.
For confirmation, it is necessary to switch from suspicious colonies to sheep blood agar and observe the formation of hemolysis (zone).
No colony growth was observed in the relevant samples in our laboratory for analysis.
In the Bacillus cereus analysis, colonies seen in the medium should not be considered as Bacillus cereus without verification.
