According to the Biocidal Product Analysis Instructions, the following tests are performed on biocidal products. These tests should also be included in the stability test report.
These physical tests are pH, appearance, and density.
The appearance contains the information that indicates the physical condition, color and odor of the product at room conditions (20 ° C ambient temperature and 101.3 kPa atmospheric pressure). The physical state of the product should also be specified in the appearance section.
For liquid biocidal products, the pH is carried out directly in the product, unless otherwise specified. In solid products, 1% aqueous solution of the product should be prepared and the pH value should be checked here.
Density testing should be performed on biocidal products according to the "OECD Test Guideline 109 Method".
